Climbing wall at the center is the biggest attraction. ARC features approximately 3100 feet to climb the wall for your pleasure. There are also 3-D climbing tower with more than 25 routes and four auto belays.
Another nice feature of the Aspen Recreation Center is the pool area. James E. Moore Pool is one of them and have 2 types of pool. A swimming pool 25 meters long with a feature in it six lanes, while the other is for recreational swimming and a two-story slides, lazy river and spray features. You'll also find a dry sauna, steam room and hot tub in pool area.
Lewis Ice Arena is also located in the Aspen Recreation Center. Completed in the spring of 2003, the arena features a regulation NHL size skating surface, seating for 450, a skate shop, locker rooms, and bathrooms. Public skating, skating lessons, figure skating, youth and adults hockey, and skating shows are available here. You can rent a private party separately. Don't miss altitude training is also offered here.
You'll also find cardio and weight room in the center, and many fitness classes as well offered. many outside activities such as the Aspen Recreation Center golf, tennis, hiking, water sports, sailing, skateboarding, ceramics classes, baseball, softball, soccer, hockey, and various camp.
Babysitting services are available in the center well. This place is a way to wrap-day activities and wind down before dinner. Once again, the Aspen Recreation Center closed just before 9, so make sure you are there after leaving the slopes for the day.
Admission for guests is $ 13 for youth and $ 15 for adults. Admission includes access to the climbing tower, swimming pool area, ice-skating rink, weight room, cardio room, adult fitness classes, water aerobics, climbing wall and tennis courts.
